Experience is often the greatest teacher when it comes
to tackling unique situations
I used to go to court – but it’s damaging to relationships, forcing parents to fight instead of working together. Lawyers can say hurtful things to advance their client’s case. The process can be very expensive and destructive, making it hard for parties who still have to deal with each other at kids’ birthday parties, or grads, or weddings.
In 2016, I decided to stop that work and focus on helping clients resolve things in a better way. With my training as a parenting coordinator and personal experience, I bring additional expertise to the table.
I help clients to be creative. To find something that works for their unique situation. To build bridges rather than burn them. And to create a strong foundation for co-parenting as they move forward. Once a resolution is reached, I also write up the separation agreement for them.
I bring this experience to the table. Helping family clients for close to 30 years. And thanks to Zoom, I can now help clients from all over the Province.
